Christopher Sanderson and Kate Harrison of Lincolnshire Writing Centre welcome everyone who shares our interest in poetry and creative writing. We encourage anyone, who wishes to explore their own creativity through writing and reading to come along to one of the creative writing workshops in Lincoln or Louth.

In a friendly and supportive workshop environment all genres are written, read, talked about and celebrated. Our community thrives on exercises; working alone or in group work, fresh outpourings are born and developed - a springboard for future writing.

Each month we have a new theme to work with. Using a variety of inspirations you, as a writer, are able to react in your own personal way, as well as pick up on the groups collective thoughts.

Everyone is given the opportunity to contribute, whether that is to write, to read, or simply to talk about others creative writing. We aim to be non-exclusive and to provide access to the world of writing for beginners and experienced writers alike.

Previous workshop notes give a flavour of the workshops, although they miss out on the very essence and joy that occurs by bringing together a group of individuals, who each have a passion for their own form of creative writing, among their other varied interests.
